I've been waiting to try this place for a while and I wasn't disappointed. I went big and got the chicken marsala. The flavor literally was fantastic - savory, rich, complex. I highly recommend this family-friendly dinner with nice views to anyone. I will definitely be back soon. I couldn't pass up taking home a few slices of pie too.
We just moved out of Portland and we’re gonna miss this place so so much Great price for a good quality of food.. definitely one of the BEST pancakes that I’ve ever tried. My wife loved their Hamburger. It was our first time trying pies// yes yes our first time and we definitely love it Customer service just amazing nice and warm people.. thank you
As soon as you enter the store, your eyes are immediately drawn to the rotating cake display case. The interior is bright and spacious, divided into three sections, with an abundance of booth tables. The outdoor seating offers a great view and is perfect for this season. We enjoyed the Sweet Potato Skillet and California Omelet with a choice of pancakes. The skillet was hearty and delicious, packed with various ingredients, and the omelet was generously filled with cheese, making it quite substantial. Although the hash browns looked tempting, we opted for the pancakes as a side. The pancakes were impressively large, even bigger than the ones at the Original Pancake House, and incredibly fluffy and delicious. 07/01/2024 Strawberry Waffle: The thick, fluffy waffle topped with plenty of strawberries was very satisfying and delicious. Grandma Banning's Favorite Omelet: Filled with ham, mushrooms, and lots of cheese, the hollandaise sauce added a great flavor, making it very tasty. The accompanying pancakes were also generous in portion and left me feeling very full. 08/14/2024 Meatloaf Sandwich: The tender meat and cheese were incredibly delicious. We were all hungry for different things, from comfort food to breakfast. This restaurant exceeded our expectations. First of all, our waitress Ava was very friendly and attentive. She didn't miss a beat and was so sweet to talk with. We all found great things to order, such as chicken marsala, kids' chicken strips, a breakfast bowl, and a breakfast special. My side salad was crisp and fresh, along with the delicious salad dressings. Portions were generous as well. The fun part was ordering dessert! The display case is visible right when you enter so you can stratigize your selection. The Keylime pie was scrumptious and perfectly creamy and tart. The Elvis pie was so good as well. It's a perfect mix of chocolate, banana cream, and peanut butter. And I'm not even a peanut butter lover. All in all, very good! We will definitely be back for more.
They have an amazing menu and everything I’ve tried has been delicious and fresh! Their carrot cake and marionberry pie is the best around.
So I started with some delicious crayons!! lol. I must say, I have drove by this restaurant many times and never had the opportunity to stop by till today. What an amazing atmosphere let alone the setting was so pleasant. The food was delicious and I will recommend this restaurant to anyone to come and try it. My party of eight only waited maybe 5 minutes tops. Quick service and friendly. More than enough parking also.
I’ve been here many times and it’s usually great, but today might have been an off day. The chicken was dry and tough, which was disappointing compared to the usual quality—but not enough to take away a star.
First time here, the food was very fresh and great portion sizes for the money. A couple can enjoy amazing food and don't forget the famous pie or marion berry cake. Will definitely come again.
